PricePilot ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of merchants who use our Shopify application. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Data We Collect

When you install PricePilot, we access and store the following data from your Shopify store:

• Product data: Product titles, handles, prices, compare-at prices, inventory quantities, and variant IDs
• Order data: Aggregated daily sales counts and revenue per product (we do not store individual order details or customer information)
• Store information: Your Shopify store domain (myshopify.com URL)
• Session data: OAuth tokens required for API access

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

• Customer personal information (names, emails, addresses)
• Payment or credit card information
• Customer browsing behavior
• Marketing or analytics data

3. How We Use Your Data

• Generate pricing recommendations based on inventory levels and sales trends
• Facilitate price experiments on your products
• Display analytics and dashboards within the app
• Send optional weekly digest emails with pricing insights

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely in encrypted databases. We use HTTPS for all data transmission. Access to your data is limited to authenticated sessions through Shopify's OAuth system.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. Your data is used exclusively to provide PricePilot's services to you.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as PricePilot is installed on your store. Upon uninstallation, your data is scheduled for deletion within 48 hours in accordance with Shopify's data protection requirements.

7. GDPR Compliance

We comply with GDPR requirements by:

• Responding to customer data requests (customers/data_request)
• Processing customer data erasure requests (customers/redact)
• Deleting all shop data upon shop redact requests (shop/redact)

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the data we store about your store
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (by uninstalling the app)
• Export your data

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email.
